- Position Summary
- We are seeking a Data Scientist to collect, analyze, and interpret complex data to support business decision-making. The role will focus on reporting, dashboard development, process automation, and delivering actionable insights using tools such as Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft Excel.
- Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources.
- Develop and maintain recurring business and management reports.
- Design interactive dashboards and visualizations using MS Power BI.
- Build data models, measures, calculated columns, and reports in Power BI.
- Use MS Excel for data analysis, reporting, reconciliations, pivot tables, formulas, and ad hoc analysis.
- Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting and data processes.
- Develop automated workflows, templates, and reporting solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Monitor data quality and investigate discrepancies or unusual trends.
- Translate business requirements into analytical solutions and meaningful insights.
- Present findings to stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner.
- Collaborate with business, technology, and operations teams to support data-driven initiatives.
- Document reporting processes, dashboard definitions, and automation procedures.
- Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Experience in data analysis, reporting, business intelligence, or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Power BI, including dashboard creation, data modeling, Power Query, and DAX.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookup functions, conditional formulas, charts, and data validation.
- Experience developing recurring and ad hoc reports for business stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to automate repetitive reporting and data-processing tasks.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to communicate technical findings to non-technical audiences.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SQL, Python, R, or other data-analysis tools.
- Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehouse concepts.
- Experience with Power Automate or other workflow-automation platforms.
- Familiarity with statistical analysis, forecasting, and predictive modeling.
- Experience working with large datasets and multiple data sources.
