Data Scientist (Agentic AI)

• About the Role
• We are looking for a senior engineer who can help design, build, and operate an enterprise-grade AI platform. The role focuses heavily on Generative AI, Agentic AI, Azure, and Databricks, with an emphasis on building scalable AI solutions that can support hundreds of production agents.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build a scalable multi-agent AI platform capable of supporting hundreds of production agents.
• Design agent runtime capabilities including state persistence, short/long-term memory, and context-window optimization.
• Optimize AI platforms for token usage, latency, throughput, scalability, and compute efficiency.
• Implement AI observability, tracing, evaluation, and monitoring using tools such as OpenTelemetry, Arize, and MLflow.
• Implement enterprise security and governance including SAST/DAST, RBAC, and auditability within AI workflows and deployment pipelines.
• Build reusable SDKs, templates, and frameworks to accelerate development and onboarding of AI agents.
• Improve CI/CD automation, heartbeat monitoring, and automated deployment validation.
• Work with enterprise architects and product teams to convert platform requirements into actionable technical and sprint plans.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership in the development and operation of GenAI and Agentic AI solutions.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of AI/ML or related engineering experience, with significant experience building GenAI and Agentic AI solutions.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure.
• Strong hands-on experience with Databricks.
• Experience with Databricks Unity Catalog, Model Serving, and MLflow.
• Strong understanding of LLMs, Generative AI, and Agentic AI architectures.
• Experience designing scalable, production-grade AI platforms.
• Strong understanding of AI platform performance, security, observability, and governance.
