About the Opportunity:

The DATA SCIENTIST 4 - INTERACTIVE DISCOVERY is responsible for leading the collaboration between data science and product teams to improve member discovery features. This role designs and analyzes experiments to measure the impact of product interventions, develops measurement frameworks, and provides actionable insights to guide product decisions. The position is key to ensuring the organization can confidently validate hypotheses and optimize member experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Design and conduct rigorous A/B tests on member discovery features
• Apply causal inference methods when standard experiments are not feasible
• Develop and maintain experimentation standards and measurement frameworks
• Manage data pipelines and code to ensure analysis reliability
• Communicate statistical findings clearly to influence product strategy
• Lead partnership between data science and product teams to define data projects
• Build scalable data solutions supporting innovation and expansion

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in experimentation and causal inference
• Proficiency in designing and analyzing experiments beyond simple A/B tests
• Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to own stakeholder relationships and provide clear data-driven guidance
• Skilled in translating ambiguous business questions into data science projects
• Proficient in SQL and Python, including dashboard and automation development
• Good judgment balancing custom needs and scalable solutions
• Self-directed and capable of managing projects independently

Pay Range and Compensation Package:

The pay range for this role is $280,000.00 to $421,000.00, varying by location
