Role Description This is a remote internship role for a Data Mining Intern. The intern will support data collection, cleaning, and organization from various online and internal sources to build reliable datasets. Day-to-day tasks include applying basic data mining techniques to identify patterns and trends, preparing reports and summaries, and assisting in maintaining databases or spreadsheets. The intern will collaborate with team members across functions, contribute to research for ICT-related projects and virtual summits, and help improve data-driven decision-making processes. The role offers practical experience in data handling within a global technology and engineering-focused organization.
Qualifications
Foundational skills in data collection, data cleaning, and basic data mining or analytics tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, or similar).
Ability to work with large datasets, organize information systematically, and perform basic statistical analysis.
Strong research skills, including sourcing information from credible online and industry databases.
Proficiency with productivity and collaboration tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software, online communication platforms).
Clear written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
Background in data science, computer science, engineering, statistics, or a related field (current student or recent graduate preferred).
Interest in ICT, telecommunications, engineering products, and global technology trends is highly beneficial.
