Role Description This part-time remote Data Analyst role supports LeadershipUp Magazine by turning raw data into clear insights that guide editorial and business decisions. On a day-to-day basis, the Data Analyst collects, cleans, and organizes data from website analytics, social media, and readership metrics. The role includes building dashboards, running recurring reports, and identifying trends to inform content strategy, audience engagement, and marketing initiatives. The Data Analyst collaborates with editorial and operations teams, translates findings into accessible presentations, and recommends data-driven improvements for performance and growth. The position requires consistent communication in a remote environment and the ability to manage multiple projects with defined deadlines.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and Data Analytics capabilities to interpret complex datasets and generate actionable insights.
Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Statistics and Data Modeling to design analyses, build predictive models, and validate findings.
Candidates should possess clear Communication skills to present data-driven recommendations to non-technical stakeholders in written and verbal formats.
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar) and spreadsheet software is beneficial.
Familiarity with website and social media analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, social media insights) is an advantage.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and collaborate across diverse teams.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Data Analytics, Statistics, Business, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
