Role Description This remote, part-time Data Insights Analyst (Entry-Level) role at Cercle des Avocats du Secteur Défense focuses on supporting data-driven decision-making for internal projects and client-facing initiatives. Day-to-day, you will collect, clean, and organize data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and consistency. You will perform basic data analysis, generate descriptive statistics, and contribute to data models that help identify trends and patterns. The role includes preparing clear visualizations, dashboards, and concise reports that translate quantitative findings into actionable insights for legal and business stakeholders. You will collaborate with team members to refine requirements, validate results, and continuously improve methodologies and documentation.
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify patterns, and propose data-informed recommendations.
Foundational experience or coursework in data analytics and data modeling, including working with structured datasets.
Basic understanding of statistics, such as distributions, correlation, and hypothesis testing.
Clear written and verbal communication skills to explain technical findings to non-technical audiences.
Familiarity with spreadsheet tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets) and an interest in learning analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R, or BI platforms).
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines on a part-time schedule.
Relevant academic background or training in data science, statistics, economics, computer science, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
Interest in the legal, defense, or public policy sectors and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and data security.
