Role Description This is a part-time, remote Data Entry Analyst role focused on supporting data-driven decision-making across programs and initiatives. The Data Entry Analyst will collect, verify, and input data from various sources, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and completeness in organizational databases and spreadsheets. The role includes cleaning and organizing data, performing basic analyses, and preparing simple reports or dashboards to track program performance and SDG-related metrics. The Data Entry Analyst will collaborate with program leads and other team members to clarify data requirements, document processes, and help maintain data quality standards. The role may also involve assisting with survey design, monitoring data collection, and supporting periodic audits of records.
Qualifications
Strong Analytical Skills and foundational Data Analytics capabilities to interpret data trends and support evidence-based insights.
Basic knowledge of Statistics and familiarity with Data Modeling concepts to support data organization and reporting.
Clear and professional Communication skills to collaborate with diverse, global, and youth-led teams.
Proficiency with spreadsheets and data tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets; familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau is an asset).
High attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage part-time hours across multiple tasks or projects.
Interest in youth empowerment, international development, and the UN SDGs; prior NGO or volunteer experience is a plus.
Relevant coursework or a degree in data science, statistics, economics, social sciences, or a related field is preferred but not required with equivalent experience.
