Job Overview
We are looking for a Data Governance Analyst with experience in data governance, data stewardship, metadata management, data quality, and data sharing processes. The ideal candidate will help implement governance policies, maintain data documentation, support data quality initiatives, and work with stakeholders across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
Support data stewards in developing and maintaining data dictionaries.
Lead and support data stewardship initiatives.
Develop and update data governance policies, procedures, and SOPs.
Maintain metadata, data catalogs, and Dataset Reference Sheets.
Develop and maintain data quality rules for critical data elements.
Intake, review, and coordinate internal and external data requests.
Maintain audit trails and track data request timelines and SLAs.
Support data sharing agreements, retention, and data destruction processes.
Identify and document metadata sources and business requirements.
Track and resolve data quality issues and report quality metrics.
Develop data literacy, stewardship, and governance training materials.
Create job aids, templates, and stewardship guides.
Collaborate with data owners, data stewards, custodians, and business stakeholders.
Communicate governance concepts and requirements to technical and non-technical teams.
Define and report governance KPIs and data quality metrics.
Support continuous improvement of the organization's data governance framework.

Required Skills
2+ years of experience with Informatica Enterprise Data Catalog or a similar data catalog/governance tool.
Experience with data governance and data stewardship.
Experience with metadata management and data dictionaries.
Experience with data quality rules and issue management.
Experience with data sharing/access governance.
Strong relationship management and stakeholder communication skills.
Experience supporting projects and aligning priorities with business initiatives.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Skills
2+ years of experience with data lineage tools and methodologies.
Experience with data governance frameworks and policies.
Understanding of the data analysis lifecycle in a business environment.
Experience developing data literacy or governance training.
Experience working with data owners, stewards, custodians, and business leaders.
Strong ability to build trust and collaboration across teams.
