Role Description The Data Entry Analyst is a part-time, remote role focused on accurately entering, validating, and maintaining data from multiple manufacturing-related sources. On a day-to-day basis, this role will input data into databases and spreadsheets, review information for completeness and consistency, and flag discrepancies or missing records for follow-up. The Data Entry Analyst will support basic data analysis tasks, prepare simple reports or summaries, and help organize data for use in dashboards or analytics tools. The role includes collaborating with team members via email and virtual meetings to clarify requirements, refine data templates, and ensure that data is ready for use by operations, analytics, and leadership teams. This position is well-suited for individuals who are detail-oriented, comfortable working independently, and able to manage their time effectively in a remote environment.
Qualifications
Strong Analytical Skills and foundational Data Analytics capabilities to interpret datasets, identify patterns, and support data-driven recommendations.
Basic understanding of Statistics and Data Modeling concepts to assist with organizing, categorizing, and structuring data for analysis.
Clear and professional Communication skills, including the ability to document work, ask clarifying questions, and collaborate effectively in a remote setting.
Proficiency with spreadsheets and data entry tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets), with high attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain data confidentiality and security standards.
Previous experience in data entry, data administration, or an analytical support role is preferred but not required.
Relevant coursework or a degree in a quantitative, business, or technical field is a plus, but applicants with equivalent practical experience are encouraged to apply.
