Role Description This is a part-time, remote role for a Data Entry Analyst at The Energy Hack Podcast. The Data Entry Analyst will collect, enter, and maintain datasets related to podcast episodes, audience metrics, and industry trends using spreadsheets and basic analytics tools. Daily tasks include cleaning and validating data, organizing information into standardized formats, and updating dashboards or reports for the production and marketing teams. The person in this role will support basic data analysis, such as tracking episode performance, identifying audience patterns, and summarizing key statistics. The Data Entry Analyst will also collaborate with team members to ensure data accuracy, respond to data-related questions, and provide clear documentation of data sources and methods.
Qualifications
Strong Analytical Skills and foundational Data Analytics capabilities to interpret patterns, trends, and performance metrics.
Basic knowledge of Statistics and Data Modeling to support simple forecasting, segmentation, or performance benchmarking.
Effective Communication skills to present findings clearly, summarize insights, and collaborate with remote team members.
Proficiency with spreadsheets (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets) and familiarity with data entry best practices and quality control.
High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks independently in a remote environment.
Interest in the energy industry, especially midstream and downstream sectors; prior exposure to energy or media/podcasting is a plus.
Relevant coursework or experience in data analysis, business, economics, engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.
