Data Engineering Consultant (MDM)

Our client, a leading financial services organization, is seeking a Data Engineering Consultant to join their team. As a Data Engineering Consultant, you will be part of the Data Solutions department supporting the Data Management and Analytics teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

• Job Title: Data Engineering Consultant (MDM)
• Location: Toronto, ON (hybrid )
• Contract Duration: 6 Months with possibility of extension

• What's the Job?
• Leverage extensive knowledge of the Master Data Management (MDM) model, data structures, and data services (APIs) to support data integration and management efforts.
• Utilize experience with MDM Services (APIs) to update and access underlying MDM data efficiently and accurately.
• Extend the MDM data model and data services using the MDM Extension Framework to meet evolving business needs.
• Assist in migrating and augmenting data into MDM data structures, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
• Collaborate with data stewards and technical teams to leverage the MDM Data Stewardship Center for effective data governance.
• What's Needed?
• At least 5 years of experience working with MDM models, data structures, and data services (APIs).
• Proven expertise in leveraging MDM APIs for data updates and retrieval.
• Experience in extending MDM data models and data services using the MDM Extension Framework.
• Knowledge of migrating and augmenting data within MDM structures.
• Familiarity with the MDM Data Stewardship Center and related data governance tools.
