About The Role

Are you looking to lead transformative data architecture projects and drive innovative solutions that power business intelligence? Spectrum is seeking a Data Developer VI to spearhead the implementation, modification, and enhancement of data services, automation, and planning. In this role, you will guide cross-functional teams and lead the design and support of comprehensive data solutions across various platforms and environments. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing scalable data pipelines, optimizing data workflows, and ensuring the integrity and security of data assets. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders, data scientists, and engineers to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, statistics, operations research, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience
- 4+ years of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) experience.
- 4+ years of experience with SQL, Shell Script, Python, JSON.
- 4+ years of data integration experience.
- 4+ years of data visualization experience using tools such as Tableau, Alterx, or Microstrategy.
- 4+ years of software engineering experience.
- 4+ years of data science, modeling, or architecture experience.
Skills
- Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
- Ability to perform in-depth and independent research and analysis with some oversight.
- Deep knowledge of SQL and Python (including YAML if applicable), data tools for querying, scripting, analysis, ETL processes, and command line interfaces.
- Experience with cloud-based infrastructures and services relevant to data processing, automation, and troubleshooting.
- Extensive understanding of Spectrum's product data sources, data pipelines, data architecture, data warehouse, and data quality control.
- Creative problem-solving skills, innovation, and advanced troubleshooting techniques.
- Strong background in reporting, development, and visualization design.
- Experience supporting data scientists and data engineers, building data sets, SQL databases, and designing efficient warehousing structures.
Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of data services and data movement infrastructures to ensure seamless data flow across platforms.
- Audit and oversee the implementation of programming concepts such as error handling, data manipulation, and input/output processing to maintain data integrity.
- Apply database concepts and practices, including database definition and query language, to develop robust data solutions.
- Develop, modify, enhance, and implement requirements and architecture specifications for data warehousing systems and processing infrastructure.
- Coordinate with stakeholder teams to design, implement, and support end-to-end data solutions across multiple environments, domains, and locations.
- Lead internal staff, vendors, consultants, and external partners to identify and resolve data integration issues promptly.
- Develop reporting processes, programs, and solutions adhering to established standards to facilitate accurate and timely insights.
- Collaborate with development teams to implement data capture requirements aligned with business objectives.
- Assist stakeholders in defining requirements for data capture that effectively answer business questions and support strategic outcomes.
