Data Center Project Manager

Trident Consulting is seeking a "Data Center Project Manager” for one of our client in " Remote ” A global leader in business and technology services.

• Location: Remote – USA
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM EST
• Pay Rate: $38/hr. on W2
• Duration: Contract

• Position Summary
• We are seeking a Project Manager – Data Center Deployments to manage critical infrastructure hardware deployment projects from initiation through testing and commissioning. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a data center-focused technical environment and managing multiple complex projects across cross-functional teams.

• Key Responsibilities
• Manage the full project lifecycle, including initiation, design, procurement, execution, testing, and commissioning.
• Manage resource availability, project schedules, budgets, and scope.
• Coordinate with IT, facilities, network operations, engineering, product management, and finance teams.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
• Prepare and lead daily project standups and status calls.
• Manage data center hardware deployments and understand design, build, and delivery of critical infrastructure and network capacity.
• Review project plans and documentation for accuracy and consistency before implementation.
• Conduct project meetings to track progress, address concerns, remove roadblocks, and mitigate issues.
• Provide regular project status reports based on documented schedules.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and project processes.
• Manage and coordinate physical asset audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Manage complex hardware deployment and data center construction project plans.
• Work effectively with engineering teams across multiple organizations and time zones.

• Required Qualifications
• 1–2+ years of project or program management experience in a professional data center-focused technical environment.
• Experience with technical products related to data centers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and timely decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects and prioritize effectively.
• Experience managing projects within budget and schedule guidelines.
• Ability to work with teams across multiple time zones.
• Willingness to work hours that support U.S. time zones.
