Site Hands & Eyes Dispatch Process Support:

• Hands and Eyes Support (for Network devices, Storage, Rack, and stack devices)
• a. Visually verify the state of a Device, for example, checking for power or network connectivity.
• b. Contact remote subject-matter experts, whether DXC or Rockwell Automation, and perform tasks at his or her direction.
• c. Perform the basic diagnostic of Rockwell Automation equipment through local jump station access as/if required.
• d. Perform device power recycle under direction from DXC or Rockwell Automation.
• Support capacity planning activities
• Validation of used/open rack capacity, switch ports, power or other physical items that can be visually identified and verified.
• Provide site escort services.
• Access coordination for all vendors/contractors (Telecom vendors into Telco and similar rooms, as well as vendors resources such as EMC, NetApp. IBM, etc.) Manages Datacenter physical security and provides access to Datacenters for approved CRs, incidents, break-fix activities, etc.
• Maintain compliance for Datacenter physical access audits Activities

• Physical Data Center experience
• Understand Switch Port

• Run fiber cable
• How to use a KVM device
• Experience with Putty
• Run console sessions
• How to escort people
• How to read a switch port
