Job Summary
Our client, a communication leader provider, is seeking a Data Architect to join their team. This is a hands-on architecture role supporting back-office systems and the transactional ecosystems behind customer promotions. The Data Architect will design OLTP data models, resolve operational data issues, and support highly visible initiatives that directly affect the customer experience. This is not a reporting or analytics-focused position.

- Core Responsibilities
- Design and implement normalized OLTP data models using Erwin
- Create database schemas, tables, relationships, constraints, and functional design standards
- Develop and optimize complex PL/SQL scripts and Oracle database solutions
- Support the mobile back-office architecture and transactional processes associated with customer promotions
- Investigate data and system integration problems that affect promotional offers and customer transactions
- Translate business and operational needs into technical specifications and scalable data architecture
- Develop data integration, pipeline, and migration strategies
- Address database performance, system compatibility, capacity, and scalability concerns
- Establish standards for data quality, completeness, integrity, and redundancy
- Partner with business leaders, project leads, consultants, and technical teams on data-related initiatives
- Provide hands-on support with data modeling, coding, and troubleshooting
- Required Skills/Experience (Must-Haves)
- 10+ years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, and database development
- Strong experience with back-office architecture and transactional ecosystems
- Advanced experience designing normalized data models for OLTP systems
- Hands-on experience with Erwin, PL/SQL, Oracle, and Python
- Strong background in relational database design and implementation
- Experience with data integration, ETL processes, and database performance optimization
- Ability to investigate complex operational problems and determine how data moves across connected systems
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work across business and technical teams
- Preferred Skills/Experience (Nice-to-Haves) ?????
- Experience supporting customer promotions, billing, ordering, activation, or other high-volume transactional systems
- Knowledge of mobile telecommunications operations and back-office platforms
- Familiarity with data governance, data stewardship, and master data management practices
- Experience with database migration and modernization initiatives
- Exposure to cloud-based data platforms and integration technologies
- Understanding of data security, privacy, and regulatory compliance requirements
- Experience working within Agile or hybrid project delivery environments

- Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $44.00 and $63.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
