Role Overview
We are looking for a Data Architect to design and deliver modern data platforms using AWS and Databricks. This role combines hands-on data engineering expertise with technical leadership, covering data ingestion, transformation, warehousing, governance, and scalable data platform architecture across structured and unstructured data sources.

Required Skills
Must Have
Strong hands-on experience with AWS, including core services across compute, storage, orchestration, and security.
Deep expertise in Databricks, including Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, cluster management, and job/workflow orchestration.
Strong understanding of the end-to-end data engineering lifecycle, including data ingestion, transformation, processing, and warehousing.
Experience designing scalable data pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
Experience with data engineering architecture and platform design in production environments.
Proven experience leading and mentoring data engineering teams, including sprint planning, code reviews, technical delivery, and quality standards.
Strong understanding of data quality, governance, scalability, performance, and cost optimization.
Ability to work with architects and business stakeholders to translate requirements into production-ready technical solutions.

Additional / Good to Have
Exposure to Agentic AI concepts, frameworks, and their application within modern data platforms.
Manufacturing domain experience, including manufacturing data landscapes, processes, and use cases.
Knowledge of data modelling, including dimensional modelling and canonical data models.
