Location: Charlotte, NC or Malvern, PA- 3 days/week

Duration: Full-time

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to design and implement scalable enterprise data architectures that support operational, analytical, and AI-driven workloads. The ideal candidate will define physical and logical data models, develop architecture blueprints, evaluate data platforms, and guide enterprise data strategy while collaborating with cross-functional technology and business teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain enterprise physical and logical data architecture.
• Develop data architecture blueprints that align business and technical requirements.
• Design scalable data platforms supporting operational, analytical, and reporting workloads.
• Evaluate and recommend data platforms, technologies, and integration solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering, analytics, and business teams to define enterprise data architecture standards.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on data architecture best practices.
• Participate in architecture reviews, governance, and strategic technology initiatives.

Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• 13+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years as a Data or Technology Architect.
• Strong experience in Enterprise Data Architecture.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Data Services.
• Expertise in Data Modelling (conceptual, logical, and physical).
• Experience designing Data Lakehouse architectures.
• Strong understanding of data integration, data governance, and modern data platforms.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Master's degree in a related field.
• Experience with Databricks.
• Knowledge of Semantic Modelling and Dimensional Modelling.
• Experience designing modern cloud-based data platforms and analytics solutions.
• Familiarity with enterprise data governance and architecture frameworks.
