Job Summary (Sr Data Center Technician)
- Serve as a key member of a high-performing team focused on next-generation data center equipment and supercomputers.
- Perform rack and stack operations for large-scale, on-premises data center infrastructure.
- Support and maintain data center equipment, including power, space, cooling, and hardware components.
- Manage and organize cabling, ensuring proper cable management and dressing.
- Troubleshoot complex network issues, particularly with Supermicro servers, Infiniband Fabric, Mellanox, and Arista hardware.
- Administer UNIX systems (Ubuntu or RedHat), using basic commands for server monitoring and issue resolution (e.g., monitoring for disk failures).
- Execute advanced break/fix procedures on servers and data center equipment.
- Apply experience with liquid cooling systems within the data center environment.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail, independent problem-solving skills, and out-of-the-box thinking.
- Collaborate with a team requiring a high level of responsibility and technical expertise.
