We are known for delivering insights, products, and services that make quality care more accessible and affordable. Here, we focus on the health, happiness, and well-being of you and those we serve - we care.

Together, we thrive as we shape the future of health for patients, our communities, and our people. If you want to be part of tomorrow's health today, we want to hear from you.

About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manager of Data Analytics to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between business operations and technical solutions within our Generics organization. You will play a key role in driving modernization initiatives, including automating legacy processes, migrating to new platforms, and developing self-service analytics tools that empower teams across pricing, finance, and manufacturer relations to make informed decisions.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of business workflows, excellent communication skills, and advanced technical expertise. This role involves engaging with stakeholders to gather requirements, designing and implementing scalable data solutions, and supporting strategic initiatives such as AI integration. You will be at the forefront of transforming data-driven decision-making processes and ensuring the successful adoption of new tools and platforms.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have a minimum of a bachelor's or master's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field. Typically, 7+ years of relevant experience in analytics, business intelligence, or a similar role is required. Strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record of delivering impactful data solutions are essential.

Additional qualifications include hands-on experience with SQL, Python, and major BI platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker. Familiarity with cloud data platforms like Snowflake or Databricks, along with a solid understanding of data modeling and BI best practices, is highly desirable. Knowledge of AI/ML concepts and their practical applications in reporting and workflows will be considered an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate directly with business and operational teams to understand their workflows, identify pain points, and translate requirements into effective analytics and automation solutions.
  • Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and self-service reporting tools that enable stakeholders to monitor performance metrics and make timely decisions independently.
  • Develop and deploy production-grade Python scripts to automate manual processes, build data pipelines, and modernize legacy automation bots with scalable solutions.
  • Support platform migration projects by assessing impacts on downstream systems, updating dashboards, data products, and workflows accordingly.
  • Contribute to the organization’s AI and machine learning strategy by identifying opportunities for application, collaborating with engineering teams to implement solutions, and ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Ensure data quality, security, and compliance standards are maintained across all analytics initiatives.

Benefits

McKesson offers a competitive total rewards package designed to support your professional and personal growth. Our benefits include comprehensive health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and wellness programs. We also provide opportunities for continuous learning, career development, and advancement within a global organization. Specific benefits may vary based on location and role, but our commitment to employee well-being remains consistent.

In addition, this role offers a hybrid work environment, with a minimum of two days per week on-site at our Las Colinas office, facilitating collaboration and team engagement while allowing flexibility to work remotely on other days.
