Data Analyst

• Job Title: Data Analyst
• Location: Denver, Colorado
• Type: 12 month Contract
• Compensation: $67.00 - $72.00
• Work Model: Hybrid – onsite and remote

Responsibilities

• Perform data collection, analysis, validation, cleansing, and reporting to support organizational decision-making.
• Design, code, test, debug, and document ETL processes, SQL queries, and stored procedures.
• Extract and analyze data from various sources including databases, manual files, and external websites.
• Respond to data inquiries from various internal groups and support leadership with scorecards, graphs, and trend reporting.
• Develop and enhance Power BI dashboards and automate reporting processes to improve efficiency.
• Support Databricks and Lakehouse initiatives by identifying innovative methods to access, refine, validate, and update data.
• Create new visualizations, interactive scorecards, and automated reporting tools to aid decision-making.
• Contribute to multiple scorecards and visual projects across the organization.
• Requirements
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with data analytics and reporting.
• Knowledge of Power BI (preferred) and Databricks (preferred).
• Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication abilities.
• 5-10 years of data analytics experience, preferably with utility industry background, though not mandatory.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, supportive environment with a positive team culture.
