Key Responsibilities
Collect, clean, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources.
Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.
Write SQL queries to extract and transform data from databases.
Analyze business data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.
Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports for management and business teams.
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights.
Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy.
Work with business stakeholders to understand reporting and analytical requirements.
Automate repetitive reporting and data-processing tasks where possible.
Collaborate with data engineers, developers, finance, marketing, operations, and other teams.
Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Maintain documentation for reports, dashboards, data sources, and analytical processes.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of SQL.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, and data analysis.
Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
Understanding of data cleaning, transformation, and validation.
Basic understanding of statistics and analytical techniques.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to interpret large datasets and communicate meaningful insights.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Python or R for data analysis.
Knowledge of Power BI DAX and Power Query.
Experience working with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
Familiarity with ETL/ELT concepts.
Knowledge of business intelligence and reporting processes.
Experience with cloud data platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
Familiarity with data warehousing concepts.
