About The Role

We are seeking a seasoned Lead Data Analyst to join our team. This pivotal role combines technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, focusing on delivering high-quality data insights that inform strategic decision-making. The Lead Data Analyst will be responsible for managing and mentoring junior analysts, overseeing data modeling, and ensuring data integrity across projects. The role requires a proactive approach to collaborating with stakeholders, designing robust data solutions, and communicating complex insights in a clear and actionable manner. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SQL, data visualization, and cloud analytics, with the ability to lead initiatives that drive business value and foster a data-driven culture within the organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in data analysis or related fields, demonstrating a progressive level of responsibility.
• Expertise in SQL, including query optimization, data transformation, and complex data extraction techniques.
• Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of cloud analytics platforms like Google Cloud, AWS, or Microsoft Azure.
• Experience applying statistical techniques to derive insights and support business strategies.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to manage ambiguity and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging with senior stakeholders and translating technical findings into business context.
• Proven experience in leading teams, mentoring junior analysts, and fostering professional growth.
• Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies, backlog management tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Ability to develop and present executive-level reports and strategic recommendations confidently.
• Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis is a plus, providing additional versatility in analytical approaches.

• Ensure adherence to data governance, quality assurance, and security protocols to maintain data integrity and compliance.
• Drive the adoption of new analytical tools, methodologies, and best practices within the team.
• Collaborate with data engineers and data scientists to improve data pipelines, accessibility, and overall data ecosystem.
• Communicate complex insights to executive stakeholders clearly, translating technical findings into actionable business recommendations.
• Lead Agile data analysis initiatives, ensuring alignment with broader business strategies and project timelines.
