About The Role
The Data Analyst II role at Modea is a practitioner-level position designed for analytics professionals eager to deepen their expertise at the intersection of marketing technology and healthcare business outcomes. In this role, you will be instrumental in delivering product and data analytics solutions tailored for leading healthcare organizations, with a particular emphasis on enhancing the healthcare digital experience. You will work within a cross-functional consulting team, employing data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making, improve digital platforms, and generate measurable results. This position requires hands-on experience with web and product analytics, especially proficiency in Adobe Customer Journey Analytics (CJA). The ideal candidate is a curious and proactive builder, capable of translating complex technical features into tangible business value, bridging the gap between technical implementation and strategic insights.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in digital analytics, technical consulting, or related analytical fields
- Hands-on experience with Adobe Customer Journey Analytics (CJA) including implementation, workspace analysis, and configuration
- Proficiency in data analysis, including data cleaning, transformation, and interpretation
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Data Science, or related fields
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for querying and transforming large datasets
- Experience with web analytics platforms such as GA4, Heap, or Adobe CJA
- Knowledge of tag management platforms like Freshpaint or Tealium (preferred)
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Looker Studio, Tableau, or PowerBI (preferred)
- Adobe certifications (e.g., CJA Business Practitioner) are highly encouraged
- Understanding of healthcare data privacy and HIPAA compliance (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Set up, configure, and maintain tracking on healthcare websites and mobile applications to capture critical user journey data points
- Contribute to Adobe CJA implementations, including configuring data views, building workspace projects, and troubleshooting data discrepancies
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement and test tags and scripts, ensuring HIPAA-compliant and accurate data collection
- Design and maintain tracking plans, including event naming conventions and documentation standards
- Produce high-quality client deliverables such as performance reports and solution documentation
- Analyze web and product analytics data to identify user behavior patterns, conversion trends, and areas for optimization
- Develop dashboards, insights, and regular reports using platforms like GA4, Heap, and Adobe CJA, ensuring clarity and relevance for healthcare stakeholders
- Utilize SQL, Python, or R to query, clean, and transform datasets for detailed analysis and decision support
- Own individual work streams within larger enterprise projects, ensuring deadlines are met and communicating progress proactively
- Present findings and strategic recommendations to clients, adapting communication style to diverse audiences
- Educate clients on best practices for analytics tracking, data interpretation, and leveraging insights for business growth
- Analyze client requests to identify underlying business drivers and escalate risks or opportunities accordingly
- Stay current with industry trends in healthcare analytics, compliance, and data privacy, maintaining a builder mindset
- Travel occasionally to client sites or company events as required (approx. 5-10%)
