About the Role

Brooksource is seeking a Data Analyst for a long-term contract position in Greenwood Village, Colorado. You will analyze internet and Wi-Fi infrastructure telemetry data to support product decisions and provide insights to engineering, product, marketing, and business intelligence teams.

The role requires strong SQL skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to turn business questions into clear, actionable findings. You will collaborate with subject matter experts, participate in code reviews, develop visualizations, and prepare production-ready code for automated data pipelines within the client's AWS environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in daily code reviews by presenting your own work and providing feedback on team members' code.
• Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to understand telemetry data and translate business questions into analytical frameworks.
• Develop data visualizations and analytical summaries for product, marketing, engineering, and business intelligence stakeholders.
• Manage ad hoc analyses from initial stakeholder discussions through analysis, visualization, and collaboration with product teams and the ETL team.
• Prepare and validate production-ready code for automated data pipelines within the client's AWS environment.
• Attend daily standups and team meetings, provide progress updates, identify blockers, and contribute to team discussions.
• Communicate analytical findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.

Required Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst.
• Strong hands-on SQL skills, including writing complex queries and participating in production-level code reviews.
• Experience with at least one business intelligence or data visualization tool.
• Ability to translate broad or unclear business questions into structured analytical deliverables.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly when presenting findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where priorities may change and requirements can be ambiguous.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Tableau is preferred.
• Experience with Looker, Google Data Studio, Power BI, or a similar data visualization tool is also considered.
• Familiarity with cloud computing or big data environments.
• AWS experience is an advantage.

Location and Work Arrangement

• Location: Greenwood Village, Colorado.
• Work arrangement: Four days onsite and one day remote per week.

Employment Type

Long-term contract.

Salary and Compensation

• Hourly rate: $65–$70.
