Role Description This is a part-time, remote Data Analyst role supporting SMAN 90 Jakarta’s data needs. The Data Analyst will collect, clean, and organize academic and operational data from various internal systems and spreadsheets. The role includes analyzing student performance trends, attendance patterns, and other school metrics to generate actionable insights. The Data Analyst will create clear reports, dashboards, and visualizations for school leaders and staff, translating complex data into accessible information. The role also involves collaborating with stakeholders to define data requirements, improving data quality processes, and recommending evidence-based improvements for school programs and initiatives.
Qualifications
Strong Analytical Skills and Data Analytics capabilities to interpret complex datasets and draw meaningful insights.
Knowledge of Statistics and quantitative methods to support data-driven recommendations and reporting.
Experience with Data Modeling and structuring datasets or databases for efficient analysis and reporting.
Effective Communication skills to explain analytical findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Proficiency with spreadsheet tools (e.g., Excel or Google Sheets); experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or similar) is an advantage.
Familiarity with basic programming or query languages (e.g., SQL, Python, or R) is beneficial.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and handle multiple tasks with attention to detail.
Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, Education, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience working with educational or academic data is a plus, but not required.
