Role Description This is a part-time remote role for a Data Analyst at Star National Automotive. The Data Analyst will collect, clean, and organize data from various internal systems and external sources to support decision-making. Typical tasks include analyzing operational and customer data, building dashboards and reports, and identifying trends, patterns, and anomalies. The role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify data needs, translate business questions into analytical tasks, and present clear, actionable findings. The Data Analyst will also help maintain data quality standards and contribute to the development of data models and metrics that support ongoing performance monitoring.
Qualifications
Strong Analytical Skills and proven ability to interpret complex datasets and draw meaningful conclusions
Hands-on experience with Data Analytics and Data Modeling to support reporting, forecasting, and performance tracking
Solid understanding of Statistics, including familiarity with basic statistical tests, distributions, and confidence intervals
Effective Communication skills, with the ability to explain technical findings to non-technical stakeholders in clear language
Proficiency with data tools such as Excel, SQL, or business intelligence platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
Attention to detail, commitment to data accuracy, and strong organizational skills in a remote work environment
Prior experience in an analytical role within automotive, retail, logistics, or a related industry is a plus
Associate or bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
