Role Description This is a part-time, remote Data Analyst role focused on supporting data-driven insights for agricultural job information and audience engagement. The Data Analyst will collect, clean, and organize job-related and user interaction data from multiple digital sources. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing statistical analysis, building dashboards or reports, and identifying trends in job postings and audience behavior. The role will involve creating simple data models to segment users, forecast demand, and optimize content or notification strategies. The Data Analyst will collaborate with the team to communicate findings, recommend improvements, and help refine how job information is presented and distributed.
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
Proficiency in data analytics and basic data modeling to structure, analyze, and visualize datasets.
Foundational knowledge of statistics, including descriptive and inferential methods relevant to data analysis.
Effective communication skills to present findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience with spreadsheets and/or analytics tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets, SQL, Python, or similar) is preferred.
Background or interest in agriculture, agricultural education, or related domains is an advantage.
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Data Science, Agriculture with data focus, Economics, or related) or equivalent practical experience.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines for part-time commitments.
