Role Description This is a part-time, remote Data Analyst role. The Data Analyst will work with genomic, clinical, and operational datasets to generate insights that support target selection, vaccine design, and outcome analysis. Day-to-day tasks include cleaning and organizing raw data, performing statistical analyses, building and maintaining data models, and creating dashboards or reports for internal stakeholders. The role also involves collaborating with scientists, engineers, and leadership to translate complex findings into clear, actionable recommendations. The Data Analyst is expected to document methodologies, validate data quality, and contribute to continuous improvement of data pipelines and analytics practices.
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills and experience in data analytics, including handling complex, multi-source datasets.
Proficiency in statistics and statistical analysis methods relevant to biomedical or experimental data.
Experience with data modeling, including designing, implementing, and maintaining data structures and pipelines.
Effective communication skills, with the ability to explain technical findings to both technical and non-technical team members.
Hands-on experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL) and data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI).
Familiarity with life sciences, genomics, or healthcare data is highly beneficial.
Strong attention to detail, commitment to data integrity, and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
