  • The role
  • Most agencies grade ads. We grade brands on how well they operate as creators.
  • The Creator Optimization Analyst owns that judgment. You'll assess how a brand shows up as a creator across Meta, TikTok, and adjacent platforms — what the creative is actually saying, how it's built, where it lands, and where the brand's creator identity is thin, inconsistent, or missing entirely. Then you'll tell the client, in their own language, what to do about it.
  • This is a technical job and a creative job. You'll be in the data every day: pulling performance, structuring creative databases, building tagging systems, running AI-assisted analysis at volume. You'll also be making calls that don't come out of a dashboard — whether a hook works, whether a creator reads as authentic to the brand, whether the messaging is compounding or contradicting itself across a hundred assets. Both halves are the job. Neither one carries it alone.
  • Primary focus is paid, where the volume and the signal live. But creator performance doesn't respect the paid/organic line, and neither will you.
  • What you'll do
  • Assess the client's brand creator identity. This is the center of the role. Apply and extend our Brand Creator Identity (BCI) methodology to judge how a brand is actually performing as a creator in-platform — what identity it projects, whether that identity is consistent, whether it's the right one, and whether it's compounding across paid and organic. You'll set the frameworks that make this assessment repeatable across accounts, and fix them when they stop explaining what you're seeing.

Provide the optimizations. Assessment without a recommendation is trivia. Where is the brand over-indexed on one creative identity? Which formats are carrying spend but not conversion? Which creator archetypes have never been tested? What is a competitor doing in-platform that this brand structurally can't do yet? You'll name the gaps in the creator opportunity and say specifically what to make, test, or kill next.

Communicate it to clients and lead on the calls. Turn the analysis into a clear point of view and deliver it. You'll build reporting in Figma, write the narrative, and be a key voice on recurring client calls — not a note-taker. Presenting findings, taking hard questions, and steering the conversation from "how did last month do" to "here's what we're changing and why." Insight the client doesn't act on is a failed deliverable.

Manage the creative tagging data warehouse. Own the tagging operation end to end. Build and maintain creative catalogues that collapse thousands of ad IDs into the real creative templates underneath them. Use AI to assess and break down every asset — hook, format, talent, setting, messaging beat, brand mention timing, claim type, production tier — so that performance can be read against creative decisions instead of guessed at. You set the taxonomy, define what gets tagged and why, and keep it consistent enough that cross-account patterns actually surface.

Work with our creator teams. Findings feed rebriefs. You'll bring insight and feedback directly to strategy, creative, and production — what's working, what's fatiguing, which creators and formats to lean into — then measure whether the next round moved.

  • Who you are
  • 3+ years in performance marketing, creative strategy, creative analytics, or a hybrid — enough time in-platform that Meta and TikTok reporting are second nature.
  • Fluent in Meta Ads Manager and TikTok Ads Manager. You understand attribution, delivery, and why two ads with identical CPMs can behave completely differently.
  • Comfortable with data infrastructure. SQL is a plus; the ability to reason about a data model, spot a bad number, and build a repeatable pull is required.
  • Working with AI tools is already part of how you operate, not something you're curious about trying. You know how to prompt for consistency across thousands of assets and where the output needs a human check.
  • Strong creative instincts and the vocabulary to explain them. You can articulate why a piece of content works without hiding behind "it just feels better."
  • Agency experience across multiple concurrent accounts.
  • Notion, Figma, and Hex (or similar BI over a warehouse).
  • Experience working with creators — sourcing, briefing, or producing.
  • Multi-location, franchise, or DTC background.
