Cash Management Wire Funding Analyst

Our client is a fund manager. They seek a Cash Management Wire Funding Analyst to join their Manhattan, NY office.

Responsibilities

• Execute domestic and international wire transactions while ensuring compliance with firm policies, regulatory requirements, and settlement deadlines
• Authenticate wire instructions, account setups, and payment details to mitigate operational risk and maintain transaction accuracy
• Process Fed Wire, ACH, CHIPS, SWIFT, and ISO 20022 payment messages, ensuring adherence to industry formatting standards
• Monitor real-time account balances and liquidity positions across banking relationships to support funding and cash management needs
• Coordinate daily funding activities and communicate cash flow requirements, wire activity, and account positions with internal stakeholders and banking partners
• Reconcile account activity and investigate discrepancies between internal records and bank statements to ensure accurate transaction reporting
• Administer treasury management systems, bank account configurations, payment templates, connectivity settings, and approval workflows
• Maintain wire instruction data, banking portal access, and transaction processing controls to support operational efficiency and data integrity
• Resolve payment exceptions, rejected transactions, and operational issues by identifying root causes and coordinating corrective actions with business units and banking partners
• Enhance treasury operations through process improvement, automation initiatives, and scalable technology solutions that reduce manual effort and operational risk

Requirements

• 5+ years of treasury experience
• Wire processing experience required
• Cash management and liquidity experience
• Self-starter and hands-on mindset
• Experience with an implementation is a plus
