Role Description This is a part-time remote role for a Business Intelligence Manager. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions that support strategic and operational decision-making. Day-to-day tasks include gathering and validating data requirements from stakeholders, building and optimizing data models and data warehousing structures, and creating dashboards and reports using business intelligence tools. The Business Intelligence Manager will analyze key performance indicators, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to cross-functional teams. The role also includes ensuring data accuracy, documenting BI processes, and collaborating with technical and non-technical partners to improve reporting and analytics capabilities.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret complex data sets, identify trends, and support data-driven decision-making.
Candidates should possess Data Modeling and Data Warehousing skills to design, structure, and manage data for efficient storage and retrieval.
Candidates should possess Dashboard development and Business Intelligence Tools skills to create clear, interactive reports and visualizations.
Proficiency with common BI platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar) and SQL or other query languages is beneficial.
Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions and communicating insights to non-technical stakeholders is preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage part-time schedules effectively, and collaborate across distributed teams.
