Position Details:
- • Job Title: Business Intelligence / Tableau Administrator
- • Location: Hartford, CT (Hybrid)
- • Duration: Long-Term W2- Contract
- • Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- • Work Model: 80% Remote / 20% Onsite
Important Requirements:
- • Candidate must be local to Connecticut.
- • Candidate must be able to attend the office at least 1 day per week.
- • Candidate must attend at least one in-person interview.
- • Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder.
Key Responsibilities:
- • Administer Tableau Cloud sites, projects, users, groups, permissions, and security.
- • Monitor Tableau platform health, extract refreshes, subscriptions, and scheduled jobs.
- • Troubleshoot Tableau performance, connectivity, and reporting issues.
- • Support report developers, analysts, and business users.
- • Deploy and promote reports across Development, Test, and Production environments.
- • Support and troubleshoot Azure SQL Database environments used for enterprise reporting.
- • Investigate reporting data issues and perform data validation activities.
- • Monitor database connectivity, query performance, and data refresh processes.
- • Assist with SQL and SOQL troubleshooting and performance optimization.
- • Support Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipelines and data integration processes.
- • Troubleshoot data load failures and data quality issues.
- • Collaborate with development and integration teams during deployments and incident resolution.
- • Support MuleSoft Runtime Fabric (RTF) environments and integrations impacting reporting platforms.
- • Create and maintain technical documentation throughout the SDLC lifecycle.
- • Provide guidance, best practices, and mentorship to team members.
Required Skills:
- • 5+ years of experience in Tableau Administration and Support.
- • Strong experience with Tableau Cloud Administration.
- • Experience supporting enterprise reporting and analytics platforms.
- • Strong SQL skills with Microsoft SQL Server and Azure SQL Database.
- • Experience with Salesforce data structures, objects, fields, relationships, and reporting.
- • Experience with user management, security, roles, profiles, permission sets, and sharing rules.
- • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- • Experience working across all phases of the SDLC.
- • Ability to work independently and drive projects from requirements through implementation.
