Data Modeling Engineer

• About the Role
• We are seeking an experienced Data Modeling Engineer to support a large enterprise security team. This role will focus on Cribl data modeling, log ingestion pipelines, and enterprise security architecture, helping enhance security operations across multiple platforms and technologies.

• Required Skills
• ✔ Strong experience with Cribl Data Modeling and Log Pipeline Design
• ✔ Enterprise Security Architecture & Engineering experience
• ✔ SIEM, XDR, Vulnerability Management, DLP, and Endpoint Security knowledge
• ✔ Python and Bash scripting experience
• ✔ Linux and Windows security administration
• ✔ Networking, security protocols, and secure system design expertise

• Preferred Skills
• Hands-on Cribl implementation experience
• SIEM administration and reporting
• Linux security sensor deployment
• Knowledge of NIST CSF, CJIS, IRS 1075, and CMS MARS-E compliance frameworks

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Information Security, or related field
• Equivalent experience may be considered
• 5+ years supporting large-scale IT environments and system deployments

• CISSP
• Security+

• Key Responsibilities
• Design, implement, and maintain Cribl data models and log ingestion pipelines
• Support enterprise security platforms including SIEM, XDR, DLP, and Vulnerability Management
• Configure and support Linux-based security sensors and endpoint monitoring tools
• Collaborate with Security Architects on enterprise security solutions
• Develop security automation and integrations using Python and Bash
• Support incident detection, log analysis, and reporting
• Create technical documentation, SOPs, and implementation guides
