• Key Responsibilities
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, document, and validate business requirements.
• Conduct requirement discovery sessions, workshops, and stakeholder interviews to understand business challenges and opportunities.
• Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications, user stories, reporting needs, and actionable recommendations.
• Facilitate discussions between business users, reporting teams, and analytics teams to ensure alignment on objectives and deliverables.
• Drive business decision-making by presenting insights, recommendations, and analytical findings to stakeholders.
• Support the design, enhancement, and implementation of business reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions.
• Partner with reporting and BI teams to define KPIs, metrics, and performance measurement frameworks.
• Perform data analysis and validation activities using SQL to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Analyze trends, patterns, and business performance indicators to identify improvement opportunities.
• Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT), requirement validation, and solution sign-off processes.
• Maintain comprehensive business documentation, including requirements, process flows, data definitions, and stakeholder communications.
• Leverage AI tools and prompting techniques to improve requirement gathering, documentation quality, analysis efficiency, and overall productivity.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to optimize reporting processes and business workflows.
• Required Skills & Qualifications
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in Business Intelligence, Reporting, or Data Analytics environments.
• Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies, requirement gathering, and stakeholder management.
• Hands-on experience working with data and the ability to perform analysis and validation using SQL.
• Experience collaborating with reporting, analytics, and business intelligence teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.
• Demonstrated ability to lead discussions, facilitate workshops, influence decisions, and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and critical reasoning capabilities.
• Experience documenting business requirements, process flows, use cases, and functional specifications.
• Ability to translate business challenges into data-driven recommendations and actionable insights.
• Proficiency in using AI-powered tools and prompting techniques to improve analysis, documentation, research, and productivity.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic business environment.
• Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working with BI platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Business Objects, or similar tools from a business analysis or end-user perspective.
• Experience supporting enterprise reporting and dashboard initiatives.
• Exposure to data warehousing, data governance, and data quality concepts.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, large-scale enterprise environment.
• Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
• Familiarity with KPI design, performance reporting, and business metrics frameworks.
