About the Opportunity:

The BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE ANALYST role is part of the Recon and Reporting team responsible for post-transaction systems that reconcile money flows and meet regulatory reporting requirements worldwide. This position ensures financial accuracy and trust by managing reconciliation and reporting workstreams end to end. The analyst translates complex, ambiguous reconciliation needs into clear metrics and automated solutions, addresses discrepancies, and influences cross-functional priorities, playing a critical role in the financial integrity of the payments operations.

Responsibilities:

• Independently design, develop, and deploy reconciliation and reporting solutions including matching logic, dashboards, exception management, and standardized journals.
• Manage daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations across card networks, banking partners, processors, and internal data.
• Handle discrepancy management from detection to resolution and control improvement.
• Define and implement key metrics for reconciliation and reporting domains and ensure correct stakeholder interpretation.
• Serve as subject matter expert on settlement, funding, and money movement flows.
• Develop and document automated SQL-based reporting solutions.
• Collaborate with data engineering to build and maintain datasets and pipelines supporting reconciliation and reporting.
• Identify control gaps, revenue leakage, and data quality issues; lead automation and process improvements.
• Maintain relationships with stakeholders in Engineering, Product, Accounting, Treasury, Tax, and Compliance.
• Support month-end close activities including reporting and audit documentation.
• Define business requirements and test plans for system changes; validate new processes.
• Mentor and onboard analysts, review code, and promote best practices.
• Apply AI-first mindset to enhance analytical work and guide responsible AI use.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in reconciliation, settlement, payment operations, accounting, or finance analytics with a Bachelor's degree, or 3+ years with a Master's degree, or equivalent experience.
• Expert-level SQL skills with experience in automated reporting.
• Proven ability to independently manage end-to-end reconciliation or financial reporting workflows.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and money movement.
• Experience collaborating with data engineering or independently managing data pipelines.
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with reconciliation tools and banking portals.

Pay Range and Compensation Package:

The pay range and compensation package for this role will be determined based on the candidate's experience, skills, and other relevant factors.
