About The Role

The IT Business Analyst at Leaf Home plays a vital role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. Working closely with business leaders, cross-functional teams, subject matter experts, and IT resources, the analyst identifies organizational requirements and translates them into clear, actionable specifications. This role ensures that enterprise systems such as CRM, ERP, HCM, and data platforms are optimized to support business objectives and deliver measurable value.

The analyst acts as a key liaison among stakeholders, internal application teams, and external vendors, facilitating communication and ensuring the successful delivery of technology solutions. They contribute to the continuous improvement of enterprise applications, support testing and validation processes, and help maintain documentation to ensure alignment with business goals and technical capabilities.

This position requires a proactive individual with strong analytical, communication, and project management skills, capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with agile methodologies, a solid understanding of enterprise systems, and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions that enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. A minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, especially within large-scale projects, is required. Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and handling day-to-day operational requests is essential.

Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills are vital, along with excellent verbal and written communication abilities. The candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project or Access. Legal authorization to work in the country of employment without sponsorship is also necessary.

Preferred qualifications include certifications such as ECBA (Entry Certificate in Business Analysis) or Salesforce Administrator certification, which can enhance a candidate’s suitability for the role.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to gather, elicit, analyze, and document business, functional, and system requirements.
• Translate business needs into detailed requirements and communicate them effectively to technical teams.
• Collaborate with the Product Owner to refine backlog items, ensuring alignment with product priorities and business outcomes.
• Develop comprehensive documentation including user stories, functional specifications, process flows, and business rules.
• Maintain traceability between requirements, technical solutions, and delivered functionality.
• Support development teams during implementation, providing clarifications and participating in agile ceremonies such as backlog refinement and sprint planning.
• Assist in testing phases by developing test scenarios, validating system functionality, and coordinating user acceptance testing.
• Act as a communication bridge among stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors, providing project updates and managing requirement changes.
• Contribute to the enhancement of enterprise systems like CRM, ERP, HCM, and data platforms, supporting operational improvements and efficiency initiatives.
