About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst / Functional Lead (P4) to join our team and drive functional excellence within the VantusHQ commerce platform, primarily serving the pharmaceutical domain. This full-time role is pivotal in ensuring that business, product, and technology solutions are seamlessly aligned with customer needs, regulatory standards, and business objectives. Operating at the intersection of business analysis and functional leadership, the successful candidate will serve as a key liaison among stakeholders, translating complex technical challenges into clear, actionable insights. As a Functional Lead within an Agile squad, you will mentor junior analysts, own requirement quality, and oversee the end-to-end delivery lifecycle, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, bug analysis, UAT, and production support. Your expertise will ensure that commerce workflows—such as order management, customer journeys, and integrations—are designed with a focus on user experience, compliance, and operational efficiency. This role demands a blend of analytical acumen, leadership skills, and hands-on engagement to deliver scalable, compliant, and high-quality solutions in a fast-paced Agile environment.
Qualifications
- 8-12 years of experience in Business Analysis and functional leadership, preferably in the healthcare or pharmaceutical domain
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- Proven experience working with commerce platforms, including eCommerce, order management, and customer experience solutions
- Strong mentorship or leadership experience with junior Business Analysts
- Expertise in requirements gathering, functional design, and process modeling
- Hands-on experience with User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect management, and production support activities
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum frameworks and methodologies
- Understanding of system integrations, APIs, and end-to-end application flows
- Ability to translate technical concepts into business-friendly language
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Knowledge of regulated pharmaceutical workflows, compliance, and audit requirements
Responsibilities
- Act as the Functional Lead within an Agile squad, ensuring functional clarity and stakeholder alignment
- Mentor and support junior Business Analysts, fostering best practices and skill development
- Collaborate with Product Owners and business stakeholders to refine backlog items, prioritize features, and maximize business value
- Own the functional design and ensure the quality of requirements across the commerce platform, including order lifecycle and customer workflows
- Translate complex business needs into clear, structured functional requirements and acceptance criteria
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as backlog grooming, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
- Serve as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating technical challenges into understandable business language
- Lead root cause analysis, bug triage, and resolution efforts, supporting production issue management
- Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring thorough validation and sign-off
- Collaborate with QA teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage, traceability, and quality standards
- Support compliance with regulated pharmaceutical workflows, including auditability and data integrity
- Drive continuous process improvements, documentation standards, and delivery practices
- Identify opportunities for automation and AI integration to optimize business processes
- Ensure timely delivery of milestones with accountability and ownership
