Business Analyst Payroll (Remote)

## About the Role

Sansar Tec, LLC is seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in payroll processes to support efficient, accurate, and compliant payroll operations. The role will work closely with HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT teams across requirements gathering, process analysis, implementation, testing, and ongoing support.

This is a fully remote position for candidates residing in the United States. The ideal candidate understands payroll workflows, compliance requirements, ERP systems, and how to translate business needs into effective technical solutions.

## Key Responsibilities

• * Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and Finance teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for payroll processes.
• * Analyze existing payroll workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
• * Recommend solutions to streamline payroll operations and business processes.
• * Work with technical teams to implement and configure payroll functionality within ERP systems.
• * Conduct payroll data analysis and reporting to monitor efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
• * Lead system testing activities to ensure payroll configurations and workflows meet business requirements and compliance standards.
• * Develop user documentation, process guides, and training materials for payroll-related systems.
• * Troubleshoot and resolve payroll system and process issues.
• * Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
• * Support payroll operations through implementation and ongoing system support.

## Required Qualifications

• * Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst focused on payroll processes within an ERP environment.
• * Strong understanding of payroll workflows, processes, compliance requirements, and best practices.
• * Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, PeopleSoft, or another ERP platform.
• * Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze payroll data and interpret trends.
• * Ability to translate business requirements into clear technical requirements.
• * Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• * Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• * Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving payroll system issues.
• * Ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment.
• * Must reside in the United States.

## Preferred Qualifications

• * Experience with payroll system implementations or ERP system upgrades.
• * Knowledge of payroll compliance requirements, including tax and regulatory standards.
• * Project management experience, particularly on HR or Finance-related projects.
