We are currently seeking for a Business Analysts (contract) to join our team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Engage with business stakeholders to understand objectives, challenges, and system needs.
- Conduct interviews, workshops, and discovery sessions to gather detailed business requirements.
- Translate business needs into clear, actionable documentation such as user stories, use cases, process diagrams, and functional specifications.
- Analyze current-state processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with IT teams, developers, and solution architects to evaluate and refine solution options.
- Support the design and implementation of new systems, enhancements, and integrations.
- Validate requirements throughout the development cycle to ensure alignment with business expectations.
- Assist with data analysis, mapping, and validation for IT-related projects.
- Support the creation of test plans, test cases, and acceptance criteria.
- Coordinate and participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Track and document defects, ensuring timely resolution with technical teams.
- Work closely with project managers to support project scoping, timelines, and risk assessments.
- Maintain regular communication with stakeholders and provide updates on progress, issues, and changes.
- Help ensure projects meet quality standards and are delivered on time.
- Evaluate business processes and recommend technology-enabled improvements or automation opportunities.
- Support digital transformation, software implementations, and system optimization initiatives.
- Ensure proposed solutions balance business needs, feasibility, and long-term sustainability.
- Develop process flows, SOPs, requirement documents, and training materials.
- Provide training or support to business users during systems rollout or updates.
- Maintain accurate documentation for ongoing reference and compliance.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the IT industry.
- Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio, Lucidchart, or similar.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to clearly document business and functional requirements.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Experience with enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, cloud applications, or custom-built software).
- Basic SQL skills or experience with data analysis.
- Experience working on integration projects or API-driven systems.
- Knowledge of ITIL or IT service management principles.
- Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
