Business Analyst – Logistics (SAP Asset Management)

• Location: Hybrid – 4 Days Onsite per Week
• (Flexibility for 3 days onsite)
• Duration: 9-Month Contract with Potential Extension

Overview

We are seeking a Business Analyst to support a large-scale logistics and asset management initiative. This individual will play a critical role in stabilizing a newly implemented system, supporting testing efforts, gathering business requirements, and partnering closely with development teams on system enhancements and production improvements.

• Key Responsibilities
• Initial Phase – System Stabilization
• During the first two months, the primary focus will be ensuring the successful stabilization of a newly implemented system by:
• Executing and coordinating system testing activities
• Validating system changes and enhancements
• Documenting and managing business requirements
• Collaborating with development teams on system designs, enhancements, and defect resolution
• Supporting issue identification, analysis, and remediation efforts

• Ongoing Responsibilities
• Following stabilization, this individual will support a roadmap of enhancements and production initiatives by:
• Participating in solution design and business analysis activities
• Gathering and documenting functional and technical requirements
• Evaluating business processes and recommending system improvements
• Partnering with stakeholders to prioritize enhancement requests
• Supporting implementation, testing, and deployment activities
• Assisting with change management and user adoption efforts

• Required Qualifications
• 2–3 years of Business Analyst experience
• 2–3 years of SAP configuration or development experience
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience gathering requirements, documenting business processes, and supporting testing activities
• Ability to collaborate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable interacting with stakeholders at multiple levels of the organization
• Ability to work effectively in ambiguous and evolving environments
• Adaptable and able to quickly pivot as business priorities change
• Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem solving

• Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working within SAP Asset Management and/or Preventative Maintenance modules strongly preferred
• SQL experience
• Previous Change Management experience
• Prosci Certification
• Experience supporting enterprise system implementations or large-scale transformation initiatives
