Business Analyst - Healthcare - UAT

2. About the Opportunity:

The Business Analyst - Healthcare - UAT plays a crucial role in facilitating the implementation and testing of healthcare policies and systems. This position supports project management by analyzing dependencies, managing risks, and coordinating communication between operational and development teams. The role contributes to improving healthcare outcomes by ensuring effective policy execution and operational readiness.

3. Responsibilities:

• Participate in daily standup meetings related to Medical Policy and internal modules.
• Create and update implementation strategies and design checklists for healthcare policies.
• Analyze dependencies and assist project management in identifying risks and issues.
• Lead brainstorming sessions for policy research and design.
• Assess impacted operational areas and document necessary materials.
• Liaise between operational and development teams, maintaining communication throughout policy progress and releases.
• Define project scope with stakeholders for assigned medical policies.
• Develop and lead execution of provider manuals, bulletins, and messaging campaigns to external users.
• Assist with updates to operational artifacts such as scripts, procedures, and user guides.
• Support operational unit training and provide assistance with queries and escalations.
• Collaborate with delivery teams including Publications and Training.
• Perform other duties as assigned by project management.

4. Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of Business Analyst experience in the healthcare industry.
• Knowledge of software development concepts including configuration, development, and batch processing.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and quantitative analysis tools.
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
• User Acceptance Testing experience and understanding of quality assurance processes.
• Strong analytical and business process re-engineering skills.
• Effective communication skills for diverse stakeholders.

5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• The pay range for this position is $51,900 to $74,200 per year, with base pay varying by region, experience, and skills.
