• About the Role: We are seeking a highly analytical and domain-driven Business Analyst (Finance) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise across Capital Markets, Investment Banking, Wealth & Asset Management, Fixed Income, AML/KYC, and Risk & Compliance, with a strong ability to translate complex business needs into actionable technology and process solutions.
• Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with stakeholders from Front, Middle, and Back Office to gather, document, and analyze business requirements across trading, settlement, and post-trade operations.
• Apply in-depth knowledge of Capital Markets, Investment Banking, Wealth & Asset Management, and Fixed Income instruments to define business processes and design system enhancements.
• Ensure adherence to AML/KYC, MiFID II, Dodd-Frank, Basel III, and Risk & Compliance standards in all financial workflows and systems.
• Develop BRDs, FRDs, Use Cases, and Process Flow Diagrams (UML/BPMN) to support system design, integration, and operational excellence.
• Act as a liaison between business users, technology teams, compliance, and product owners to align priorities and deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Perform data mapping, reconciliation, and reporting for financial instruments, transactions, and risk exposure across portfolios.
• Support UAT by defining acceptance criteria, preparing test cases, and validating solutions for accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
• Identify and mitigate operational, market, and credit risks through process improvement and control framework implementation.
• Drive process automation and digital transformation initiatives for enhanced operational efficiency in trading and investment workflows.
• Stay updated with industry trends, financial regulations, and emerging technologies (AI, data analytics, workflow automation) impacting the financial domain.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Financial Services / Banking / Capital Markets domains.
• Strong understanding of Trade Lifecycle, Front-to-Back Office processes, and financial instruments (Equities, Derivatives, Fixed Income, FX, Mutual Funds, etc.).
• Expertise in AML/KYC, Client Onboarding, and Risk Management frameworks.
• Experience in Wealth Management, Portfolio Management Systems (PMS), and Asset Allocation.
• Proficiency in SQL, Excel, Power BI/Tableau for data analysis and reporting.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like JIRA, Confluence, Visio, MS Project.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and documentation skills.
