Note: This is a full-time salaried position. Resumes from independent consultants or contractors will not be considered. The role supports Federal Government clients, so U.S. Citizenship is required. Desired Skills and Experience:

  • The ideal candidate will have relevant experience and proven abilities in:
  • Develop, analyze, and manage agency budgets in alignment with federal guidelines and priorities
  • Prepare budget justifications, reports, and supporting documentation for leadership and oversight bodies
  • Monitor budget execution to ensure funds are spent appropriately and within allocated limits
  • Conduct cost-benefit analyses to support funding decisions and program evaluations
  • Track expenditures and identify variances between planned and actual spending
  • Provide financial forecasts and projections based on current and historical data
  • Ensure compliance with federal regulations, policies, and appropriations law
  • Collaborate with program managers to align financial plans with operational goals
  • Use financial systems and tools to maintain accurate budget data and reporting

Basic Qualifications:

  • B.A. or B.S. degree with a minimum of 4 years of experience in a budget environment
  • Superb oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Excel, Google Suite)
  • Experience with multi-tasking in a fast-paced and fast-growing company
  • Ability to think strategically, analytically, and proactively about diverse business solutions

Operating Status:

Most M2 positions are hybrid roles, which will require working both at clients' work locations and teleworking.

Physical Qualification(s) Required:

  • Work is performed in an office environment
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for an extended period of time
  • Responsible for adhering to all established safety standards
