Bilingual Business Analyst - Implementations/ Transformations, Asset Management

Contract Duration: 6 months

Typical Day in Role:

  • Provide senior-level business analysis services for strategic transformation initiatives within Asset Management.
  • Support Private Assets platform, operating model, process, data, reporting, and workflow initiatives.
  • Support Transfer Agency modernization activities, including shareholder servicing, transactions, fund distributions, reporting, and operational process transformation.
  • Develop and refine delivery-ready epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, and requirements documentation.
  • Contribute to Agile delivery execution by supporting backlog refinement, sprint planning, story walkthroughs, and delivery readiness activities.
  • Work with internal teams and vendors to clarify requirements, validate proposed solutions, resolve analysis gaps, and support implementation planning.
  • Operate as a hands-on contractor resource supporting active project delivery and analysis execution.
  • Work independently while coordinating closely with Product Owners, delivery leads, business SMEs, technology teams, and vendors.
  • Produce clear, concise, and complete documentation that can be reviewed, approved, and used by delivery teams.
  • Participate in project ceremonies, workshops, stakeholder reviews, vendor sessions, and implementation planning activities as required.
  • Maintain confidentiality and follow applicable enterprise standards, policies, and governance expectations.
  • Business Analysis & Requirements Delivery
  • Lead requirements elicitation and analysis sessions with business, operations, product, technology, and vendor stakeholders.
  • Document current-state and future-state processes, business rules, data requirements, user journeys, functional requirements, and non-functional requirements.
  • Translate complex business needs into clear, structured, and delivery-ready documentation.
  • Maintain requirements traceability from business objectives through implemented solution capabilities.
  • Agile Delivery Support
  • Create, refine, and maintain epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria at scale.
  • Ensure backlog items are aligned to business value and meet Definition of Ready / Definition of Done expectations.
  • Partner with Product Owners and delivery teams to support prioritization, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and story walkthroughs.
  • Clarify requirements during development and testing to reduce ambiguity and support delivery momentum.
  • Transfer Agency Transformation Support
  • Support analysis activities related to Transfer Agency modernization, including account servicing, transactions, settlements, distributions, interfaces, reporting, and operational controls.
  • Assist with vendor solution validation, requirements walkthroughs, gap analysis, and implementation support.
  • Identify operational impacts, dependencies, risks, and process changes arising from transformation activities.
  • Private Assets Transformation Support
  • Support initiatives involving Private Equity, Private Credit, and other private asset capabilities.
  • Analyze business processes, data requirements, reporting needs, operational controls, and platform-related impacts.
  • Partner with stakeholders to define capabilities required to support private market products, workflows, and future-state operating models.
  • Stakeholder, Vendor & Delivery Governance
  • Facilitate alignment across stakeholders with varying priorities and delivery expectations.
  • Support vendor interactions by preparing requirements, documenting decisions, validating design assumptions, and tracking follow-ups.
  • Identify and escalate risks, issues, dependencies, and decisions requiring resolution.
  • Contribute to project status reporting, delivery governance, implementation readiness, and transition planning.
  • Expected Deliverables
  • Requirements documentation, including business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
  • Epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog refinement materials.
  • Current-state and future-state process flows, workflows, and operating model documentation.
  • Data mapping, data lineage, interface, reporting, and control-related analysis artifacts as required.
  • Workshop materials, meeting notes, decision logs, RAID inputs, and stakeholder review materials.
  • Vendor requirements clarification notes, solution validation feedback, and gap analysis outputs.
  • Testing support documentation, implementation readiness inputs, and transition-to-support artifacts.

Must Have Skills:

  • 1. 10+ years of progressive business analysis experience supporting complex financial services or asset management initiatives.
  • 2. Demonstrated experience delivering transformation or technology implementation programs in Agile environments.
  • 3. 5+ years of experience writing epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and detailed requirements documentation.
  • 4. 5+ years of experience working with business, operations, technology, product, and vendor stakeholders.
  • 5. Strong process analysis, workflow documentation, requirements traceability, and stakeholder facilitation skills.
  • 6. Must be bilingual in Spanish

Nice-To-Have Skills:

  • Experience with Transfer Agency, fund administration, shareholder servicing, or asset management operations.
  • Experience with Private Assets, private market operating models, investment operations, or related platform initiatives.
  • Experience supporting vendor-led implementations, solution validation, and integration activities.
  • CBAP, PMI-PBA, CSPO, PSPO, CSM, PSM, or equivalent credentials are considered assets.

Soft Skills Required:

  • Ability to operate independently, manage ambiguity, and produce high-quality deliverables with limited supervision
  • Strong communication skills

Education: University degree in business, or other related fields is required.
