BI Developer (Associate / Senior Associate)
- Wilmington, DE | Onsite
- $130K-$160K Base + Incentive Potential
- U.S. Citizens or Green Card Holders Only | No Sponsorship Available Now or in the Future
- A leading enterprise organization is investing heavily in the modernization of its workforce analytics environment and is seeking BI Developers who can help drive the transition from legacy reporting platforms to a modern cloud-based analytics ecosystem.
- This is not a traditional dashboard development role. The team is looking for professionals who understand both the front-end analytics experience and the underlying data architecture that powers it. You'll play a key role in migrating legacy BI assets, improving analytics products, enabling self-service reporting, and helping shape the future state of the organization's reporting environment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Design, build, and enhance dashboards, reports, curated datasets, and analytics products used by business stakeholders and leadership teams.
- Lead and support migration efforts from legacy BI platforms into a modern cloud analytics environment.
- Work with large datasets to transform, validate, and optimize data for reporting and analytics use cases.
- Partner with stakeholders to translate business questions into scalable analytical solutions.
- Improve and modernize existing reporting products rather than simply rebuilding them one-for-one.
- Support and enhance legacy dashboards, troubleshoot reporting issues, optimize queries, and maintain business-critical analytics assets.
- Help develop self-service analytics capabilities, semantic layers, and standardized business definitions.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including senior leadership audiences.
What We're Looking For
- Experience building dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions within modern BI platforms.
- Strong SQL, data manipulation, and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with modern cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar technologies.
- Exposure to BI tools such as Sigma, Tableau, Power BI, or comparable platforms.
- Understanding of data pipelines, data flows, and modern analytics architectures.
- Experience supporting both new BI development and existing reporting environments.
- Ability to work directly with business stakeholders and communicate technical concepts clearly.
- Strong troubleshooting mindset and a passion for improving reporting processes and user experience.
Ideal Candidate Background
We're particularly interested in professionals who have:
- Participated in BI modernization or migration initiatives.
- Worked with both dashboards and the underlying datasets powering them.
- Built analytics solutions on cloud-based data platforms.
- Supported self-service analytics frameworks or semantic layers.
- Partnered directly with business users and leadership teams to deliver actionable insights.
- Experience balancing hands-on development, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement.
Why Apply?
- Join a high-visibility analytics transformation initiative.
- Work with modern cloud data and BI technologies.
- Influence the future analytics strategy of a large enterprise environment.
- Strong compensation with additional flexibility for exceptional candidates.
- Opportunity for growth within a collaborative, data-driven team.
- Location: Wilmington, DE
- Employment Type: Full-Time
- Applicants must be U.S. Citizens or Green Card holders. Sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
