• Position Overview
• We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer / Data Engineer to design and develop scalable, secure applications and data pipelines within a Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment. This role requires strong hands-on experience with Java, Python, GCP data services, and modern DevOps practices, with a focus on building high-performance applications and cloud-based data solutions.

• Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop scalable, secure data pipelines from on-premises systems to Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Build cloud-based solutions leveraging BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Composer.
• Develop reusable data transformation libraries using Python and Apache Beam, including SCD patterns, data quality controls, and masking/tokenization.
• Design, develop, test, debug, deploy, and maintain high-performance Java-based applications.
• Develop solutions using Java 8+, Spring/Spring Boot, SQL, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture.
• Support real-time and event-driven data processing using Kafka and/or Google Pub/Sub.
• Build and maintain automated CI/CD processes using Gradle, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Git.
• Produce technical documentation and clearly demonstrate developed solutions to technical stakeholders.
• Participate in application upgrades, deployments, troubleshooting, and ongoing platform enhancements.

• Required Qualifications
• Strong hands-on development experience with Java 8+, Spring/Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and SQL.
• Experience designing and building scalable data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform.
• Hands-on experience with GCP technologies such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, and/or Cloud Composer.
• Experience developing data transformations with Python and Apache Beam.
• Strong understanding of microservices, multithreading, and distributed application architecture.
• Experience with Kafka or Google Pub/Sub for real-time data processing.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools, including Gradle, Jenkins, Git, and GitHub Actions.
• Ability to develop well-tested, maintainable, and thoroughly documented production code.
