The Analyst, Vendor Regulatory Compliance & Affairs coordinates the implementation of policies, procedures, guidelines, training programs and systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for the sale of products in the U.S.

Principle Duties And Responsibilities

• Tracking and investigating product issues submitted by Pet Care Centers and Distribution Centers.
• Effectively communicates product issues with external vendors and internal teams including Quality Assurance as necessary.
• Execute Regulatory Compliance Recalls and other related compliance actions, ensuring appropriate processes are followed for Quarantines, Recalls and Compliance Withdrawals including documentation and communication in compliance with FDA standards as appropriate.
• Assist with communicating and gathering results of product inspection requests.
• Develop and maintain collaborative partnerships with internal and external key stakeholders.
• Provide reports on regulatory compliance risks including inventory, financial and labor impacts to management and others.
• Support other functions including state tonnage reporting and product registrations.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2-5 years progressively responsible product regulatory compliance experience is preferred or an equivalent combination of education, experience and/or training.
• Detail-oriented; strong computer skills, spreadsheets, presentations.
• Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills. This position requires regular interaction with cross-functional leaders across the company in addition to our suppliers.
• Ability to utilize internal data systems and conduct internet research.
