- Organization:
- H.C. Wainwright & Co. is a boutique investment bank based in New York City. The firm is dedicated to providing corporate finance, strategic advisory and related services to public and private growth companies across multiple sectors and regions.
- This position is within a fast-paced Equity Capital Markets (ECM) group which is responsible for planning and executing national and international roadshows in partnership with the investment banking coverage teams. Members of the ECM team are tasked with developing relationships with institutional buy-side accounts to support the corporate clients of the firm across a variety of sectors.
- Position is for immediate start.
- Main Accountabilities:
- Day-to-day responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Identify and cultivate new and existing institutional relationships (hedge funds, asset managers, family offices) and act as the contact person and relationship manager
- Manage the client acquisition process and on-boarding for new institutional clients
- Planning and execution of national and international roadshows for corporate clients of the firm
- Analyzing economic, regulatory, and industry trends & data for use in the preparation of client materials
- Work directly with the group’s senior professionals on various aspects of the transaction process, including initiation and management of new business opportunities

- Applicants should possess a strong interest in financial markets, aptitude to learn, and demonstrated history of strong academic performance and professional drive
- Excellent communication, writing, and interpersonal skills
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic
- Strict attention to detail with demonstrated ability to take initiative
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint with experience in maintaining and presenting financial information
- Looking for a high-energy, adaptable, enthusiastic candidate who is interested in growing their product knowledge, experience, and skill set. Person must be able to follow detailed instructions and think on their feet.
- Domestic and International travel (when permitted) approximately once per month
- • Proven track-record from a top-tier university
- • FINRA SIE, Series 7, 63, and 79 preferred (or within 4 months from the start of employment)
- • 0 – 2 years relevant work / industry experience
