Ab Initio Developer – Metadata & Data Integration

• Role: Ab Initio Developer – Metadata & Data Integration (10+ Years)
• Location: Mississauga, Canada

Responsibilities:

• Develop and support applications using Ab Initio Metadata Hub (mHub).
• Work with data lineage, metadata management, reference data development, data analytics, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
• Perform application development and coding using Python, Java, or other programming languages.
• Work with relational databases such as Oracle and SQL/PLSQL.
• Support the full Software Development Kit (SDK) development cycle.
• Perform tool-based configuration and development activities.
• Apply pragmatic problem-solving skills and work independently or as part of a team.

Required Skills:

• 10+ years of application Ab Initio Metadata Hub development experience.
• Strong understanding of data lineage, metadata management, reference data development, and data analytics.
• Good knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle and SQL/PLSQL.
• Proficiency in Ab Initio mHub or Python programming.
• Proficiency with one or more of the following: Java, API, or Python.
• Hands-on experience with any coding language and tool-based configuration.
• 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• Experience with the full Software Development Kit (SDK) development cycle.

Desired Skills:

Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes.
