Analytics Engineer (Forward Deployed)

• I’m hiring an Analytics Engineer for a fast-growing healthcare AI company in New York.
• This is not a BI or reporting role.

We’re looking for someone who understands healthcare financial data deeply and can turn messy claims, reimbursement and revenue-cycle logic into clean, trusted data models that an AI platform can actually rely on.

You’ll work directly with healthcare finance and clinical teams to understand how their data works, codify complex business rules and build the transformation layer that sits at the heart of the platform.

What we’re looking for:

• • 5+ years in data or analytics engineering
• • Strong SQL and ideally dbt
• • Hands-on experience with claims, reimbursement, revenue cycle or health system finance
• • Experience building and owning data pipelines end to end
• • Strong experience turning complex business rules into production data models
• • Comfortable working directly with customers and non-technical stakeholders
• • Python and modern data pipeline experience are valuable
• • Health-tech, health system or healthcare consulting experience is a plus
• This won’t suit someone whose background is primarily dashboards, Tableau, Looker or BI reporting. We need someone who has genuinely owned the underlying transformation and data engineering layer.
